Commander, Operation Whirl Stroke (OPWS), Maj-Gen. Sunday Igbinomwanhia, has said the Nigerian Army is willing to work with relevant security agencies in safeguarding the country.
He stated this, yesterday, in his speech at the inauguration of 4 Special Forces (SF) Command Operation Planning Cadre for Officers in Makurdi, Benue State.
The General charged the participants to make optimum use of the training to understand the dynamics of proper synergy, collaboration and sound coordination of operations with other security agencies.
He said the Army would never shirk its responsibility of protecting the country against insurgency, banditry, farmers-herders’ clashes, kidnapping and militancy among other security challenges that threaten its corporate existence.
