BNP Paribas found itself back in the top-three dealers for foreign exchange forwards with mutual funds in the second quarter of this year – for the first time since the start of 2022 – while cuts in positions from Pimco and Vanguard saw Deutsche Bank and HSBC tumble down the rankings.
The French bank had regularly been a top-three contender since FX Market’s Counterparty Radar data service began aggregating industry filings at the start of 2020, but it slid down the rankings from Q2 2022.
