Ondo State Security Network Agency, popularly known as Amotekun, has arrested a couple for alleged involvement in a series of shop break-ins and thefts of goods worth millions of Naira in Akure, the state capital.
The suspects, Adewale Olokungboye, 29, and Ngozi Kenneth, 33, were paraded yesterday at the security agency’s headquarters in Alagbaka, Akure.
Trying to pass the buck, the husband, Olokungboye, claimed that he had no prior knowledge of his wife’s involvement until Amotekun operatives arrived at their home, where the goods were traced.
He, however, admitted that he did not question his wife about her absence on the day of the incident, and why she did not sleep at home.
