NYSC members assured of adequate security, welfare in Kogi

Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Ododo, has promised to provide adequate security and welfare to National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members in the state for the one-year mandatory national service.

He made the promise, yesterday, during the closing ceremony of NYSC 2024 Batch ‘A’ Stream 1 Orientation Course at the NYSC permanent orientation camp, Asaya, Kabba Local Council of Kogi.

The governor, who was represented by his deputy, Oyibo Salifu, assured that the state government, just like before, would continue to prioritise the security of life and property of the corps members, as well as their welfare, to make them comfortable while they serve their fatherland.
