The pan Igbo socio-political organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has condemned in totality the killing of 17 soldiers from the 181 Amphibious Battalion of the Nigerian Army in Delta State who were on a peace mission to Okuama community in Ughelli South Local Government Area.
In a statement on Tuesday titled: Ohanaeze Ndigbo’s unleashed wrath: A stern revengeful warning, issued by its Secretary-General, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, the group said the Okuama massacre was a tragic chapter stained in blood which has left Ndigbo in a state of deep mourning, profound sorrow, and unrelenting anger.
Specifically, the group mourned the loss of the brave Igbo officer, Major DE Obi, and his comrades who sacrificed their lives in service.
