The Imo State Police Command has arrested three suspects allegedly responsible for the murder of traditional rulers of Amumara Ezinihitte Mbaise and Ngwurunweke Aboh Mbaise Local Government Areas of the state Eze J.B. Ochulor and Eze James Mirioma respectively.
The command’s spokesperson, ASP Henry Okoye, who paraded the suspects on Friday, said their arrests was in line with the command’s commitment to ridding the state of criminal activities.
The police spokesman gave the names of the suspects, who are all from Aboh Mbaise council of the state, as Olumachi Iheanacho, M, (28) of Amato Umulolo Amuzu, Chisom Samuel, M, (37) and Linus Odoemenam, M (42).
He added that exhibits recovered from the suspects included three pump action guns, 12 rounds of live cartridges and various criminal charms.
