Tinubu heads to China for bilateral talks

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to depart Abuja today, Thursday, August 29, for Beijing, China, on an official visit aimed at bolstering bilateral relations and exploring new economic opportunities between the two nations.

According to a statement released by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, the President’s journey will include a brief stopover in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) before arriving in China, where he is scheduled to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

The discussions are expected to focus on enhancing cooperation between Nigeria and China.

During the visit, President Tinubu will also participate in the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, where he will hold talks with Chinese business leaders to promote investment and trade opportunities.

The meetings aim to attract Chinese investments that could significantly boost Nigeria’s economic development.
