Polkadot Hackathon nears finale with 25 projects set for Demo Day

The 2024 Hackathon is nearing its conclusion as 25 projects have advanced to the final stage of the Singapore round. 

The event, which started on July 11, will host its Demo Day in Singapore on September 17 and in Bangkok on November 16. A total of 279 developers took part, forming 69 teams, with 34 projects submitted for preliminary review.

The selection process looked at criteria such as technical difficulty, project completion, and standardization, with 25 projects making it past the first review. 

The judging panel included Substrate community developer Kaichao, PaperMoon Developer Relations Engineer Jun Zhou, and Nicolas Martin Hussein.

Among the finalists is WeTEE, which offers decentralized computing power for the Polkadot ecosystem, allowing Web2 applications to be deployed in a secure environment without code modifications. Enhanced Token Fortress (ETF.one) is another finalist that provides…
