FCC demands proof from Senator Wabara over bribery allegations

The Federal Character Commission (FCC), on Sunday, called on former Senate President Adolphus Wabara to provide evidence for his recent bribery allegations.

This statement comes in response to Wabara’s claims that the FCC refused job placements for individuals in his constituency.

Wabara alleged that his attempts to secure jobs for people in his wards were thwarted, revealing that he gathered the resistance was because he did not “drop any money.”

Reacting to the allegations, in a statement by the FCC’s Director of Public Affairs and Communication, Dr. Chuks Okoli clarified that the commission is not a recruiting agency but a regulatory body.
