In an effort to promote peace, unity and job creation in Abia State, the Ngwa Social Club (NSC) has pledged to establish a multi-purpose town hall in Aba, which would be known as “Ovu Ngwa”.
According to the club, the structure will serve as a reminder that unity is the greatest strength for everyone.
The president, NSC, Prof. Paul Chibuike Ananaba (SAN) said the historical, cultural and strategic importance of Ovu in Ngwa land cannot be overstated, noting that the structure would serve as a symbol of unity, a place where the bonds of the community will grow stronger.
Ananaba made the submission during the group’s N5 billion launching at the MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos at the weekend.
