The Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission (PCACC) says it has scaled up community sensitisation activities to create awareness on the ills of corruption.
The Chairman of the commission, Muhuyi Magaji-Rimingado, said this at a town hall meeting organised by the commission on Tuesday in Kano.
He underscored the importance of public sensitisation in combating corruption, adding that the exercise was designed to educate the citizens about the dangers of corruption.
Magaji-Rimingado said the commission in collaboration with stakeholders would extend its enlightenment activities at the grassroots, to effectively end corruption in the state.
“I have encountered numerous methods of corruption, but we remain resolute in combating them,” he said.
