The Cross River State Ministry of Education has flagged off the annual school census for the 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 academic sessions.
The event, which was held on Tuesday at the Ministry of Education Headquarters in Calabar, targets gathering data from public, private, and technical schools across the state to support effective planning and decision-making for the education sector.
Speaking during the flag-off ceremony, the Cross River State Commissioner for Education, Senator Stephen Odey, welcomed stakeholders and expressed appreciation to Governor Bassey Edet Otu for his dedication to improving the education system.
