Senator seeks security reinforcement in Southern Kaduna

The lawmaker representing Kaduna South Senatorial District, Senator Sunday Marshall Katung, has appealed to the Federal Government for more security reinforcement in communities within Southern Kaduna.

He said an improved security presence in the area would arrest insecurity.

Disturbed by banditry and kidnapping for ransom in some communities of Kauru, Kagarko, Kaura, Zangon Kataf and Kachia Local Government Areas of Kaduna State, Katung said, “my life does not matter to me now if my people are not secured.”

Katung who made the appeal during a church service at the Fountain of Life Baptist Church, Kafanchan said, “my best prayer wish is that banditry in southern Kaduna come to a stop.”

The lawmaker, however, assured the people that security agencies were working to address the issue.
