The Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, has sworn in five permanent secretaries for service delivery in the state. According to him, they are the drivers of Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), while delivering services to the people.
Zulum, represented by his deputy, Usman Kadafur, stated, “As government is a shared responsibility with delegated power and authority, you are to improve the living conditions of the people.”
Besides service delivery, he said that the permanent secretaries must work tirelessly in addressing the challenges of Boko Haram insurgency, infrastructure deficits, and poverty among unemployed youths and women.
