Aquis Exchange has issued an alert about an impersonation scam.
Some individuals have been approached by a fraudulent actor impersonating Aquis Exchange PLC. This actor proposes investment in cryptocurrency and requests payment through an ‘Aquis Exchange’-titled app or website.
This entity is not in any way connected to Aquis Exchange PLC.
The company stated:
“We are a European equities exchange and do not allow cryptocurrency trading. Aquis Exchange does not transact directly with individual investors and will never ask an individual retail investor for payment of any kind”.
