The Bank of England has issued a statement amid problems caused by a global IT outage.
The issue has affected the work of finance companies, airlines, payment systems. The London Stock Exchange did not publish RNS announcements for several hours because of the IT issues.
The Bank of England stated:
“We are monitoring the situation closely and continuing to engage with firms and other authorities. There is no impact on the Bank’s systems”.
