Israel based, social-trading focused online broker eToro has made an interesting new hire from outside “the industry”, adding Tel Aviv based executive Eli Shwartz as the company’s new Head of Marketing Strategy.
Eli Shwartz spent the past four years with Israel’s fourth largest commercial bank, Israel Discount Bank, serving as Head Of Digital Marketing. He had worked most of the previous decade in senior marketing and business development roles for Menora Mivtachim Group, a top-five Israeli insurance company, with a brief stint (2015-2017) at Unilever.
eToro has announced plans for an IPO in the US market, likely to take place later this year.
