FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that leading Retail FX and CFDs broker Capital.com has hired Tarek Mahassen as Head of Risk. He will be relocating from Spain to Dubai for his new position at Capital.com.
Tarek Mahassen spent the past two and a half years at neobank Revolut, serving as Revolut’s Group Senior Operational Risk Manager for the past year. Prior to Revolut, Tarek worked at German online broker Trade Republic, and at payments and online shopping company Klarna.
Capital.com – which has been shifting its focus lately to the MENA region – operates several licensed subsidiaries involved in online brokerage in the UK, Australia, Cyprus, and the UAE. The company, and its sister brand Currency.com are controlled by British tech entrepreneur Victor Prokopenya.
