FNG has learned that experienced FX industry executive has been named Chief Operating Officer (COO) at LSEG FX, the FX services arm of London Stock Exchange Group Plc (LON:LSEG).
Gavin Wells joined LSEG last summer on a contract basis, to lead the transformation of LSEG’s FX business. He spent the previous four years (2020-2023 inclusive) working at rival Deutsche Borse’s 360T institutional FX arm. Gavin had previously worked at LSEG, from 2008-2016, as CEO of the ForexClear and CDSClear post-trade businesses within LSEG.
LSEG operates several FX services and venues including the FXall electronic trading platform, FX Matching, PriceStream, NDF Matching, MTF, and SEF. The company also operates FX reporting, compliance and clearing services, and solutions for FX trading workflows.
