SBI Holdings, Inc. and SBI Investment Co., Ltd. today announced that they have invested in Tenstorrent Inc.
Tenstorrent is a next-generation computing company building computers for AI, and primarily designs AI semiconductors for data centers, automotive and IoT devices, with strengths in developing RISC-V processors and AI processing chips.
The company is headquartered in North America, with offices in Toronto, Austin and Silicon Valley, and global offices in Belgrade, Tokyo, Bangalore, Singapore and Seoul.
Tenstorrent has now completed a Series D fundraising totaling over USD 690 million. In addition to leading venture capitalists (VCs), leading companies in various industries have participated as investors, including SBI Holdings and SBI Investment.
