Standard Chartered announced today the appointment of Sofia Hammoucha as Global Head of Trade & Working Capital based in Singapore.
Ms Hammoucha succeeds Kai Fehr, who has decided to move back to his home country, Germany, to spend more time with his family.
Sofia Hammoucha joined Standard Chartered in 2022 as Head of Risk for Transaction Banking. Before joining Standard Chartered, Sofia spent 22 years at BNP Paribas holding several roles spanning Risk management, internal audit, business development, strategy, leadership and change management in Europe and Asia Pacific. In her last role with BNP Paribas, she was Head of Transaction Banking for ASEAN.
