A Technical Adviser in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Professor Bernard Babatunde, on Wednesday took his wife of 21 years in marriage to the altar in a ceremony attended by prominent Nigerian leaders in Abuja.
Babatunde, the first Professor of Radioecology in Africa, alongside his wife, dressed in traditional attire for the occasion, drawing applause from his guests for upholding tradition and cultural values.
Professor Babatunde and his wife, Dr. Tolulope Mohammed, were wedded at the Holy Family Catholic Church, Life Camp, where Senator Akume led other dignitaries to the event.
Babatunde has been a specialist in Radioecology for many years, a complex multidisciplinary branch of nuclear science concerned with the fate, human, and environmental health impacts of radioactivity from natural and man-made sources.
