The Apapa Port Command of the Nigeria Customs Service, on Wednesday, announced that it generated a total revenue of N1,227,431,323,016.24 between January and July 2024.
The command also collected N201,853,406,964.61 for the month of July this year, being its highest monthly collection in the history of the Nigeria Customs Service.
Customs Area Controller of the Command, Comptroller Babatunde Olomu, said he is committed to surpassing the existing records of revenue collection.
The command, in a statement by its PRO, CSC Abubakar Usman, said that the collected revenue for the seven months of 2024 is higher than the total revenue collected for the 12 months of 2023.
