The Association of Nigerian Refineries and Petroleum Marketers (ANRPM) has called for a partnership with the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) to combat irregularities within the petroleum sector.
The union disclosed this during a courtesy visit to the Lagos State Command of the NSCDC in Ikeja. Lagos State Chairman of ANRPM, Mr Eniola Thomas, said the meeting held at the office of the State Commandant of NSCDC was aimed at fostering collaboration between the two bodies to tackle issues such as pipeline vandalism, product diversion, and the circulation of adulterated petroleum products. He emphasised the situation’s urgency and the need for a robust partnership.
