Church begins celebration of Christ's birth anniversary

The Church of the Living God, God’s Kingdom Society (GKS), will on Sunday begin celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.

The event, tagged: “Freedom Day,” is expected to hold every Sunday in October 2024 at various centres in Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia, the United Kingdom (UK), Canada and the United States (U.S.) on designated dates, according to a schedule that had been drawn up for the event this year.

Acting Publicity Secretary of the church, Ogechukwu Emmanuel Oriaku, in a statement, yesterday, said the event would feature sermons, musical performances and special thanksgiving to God.

He also added that the main sermons for the service would be addressed by the GKS President, Felix Ekundayo Adedokun, entitled, “Let Him That Thinketh He Standeth, Take Heed Lest He Fall” and “Was Christ born on Christmas Day?”
