Court ruling resolves PDP leadership dispute in Rivers — Ex-spokesman

Former Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State, Tambari Sydney Gbara, has said the Rivers State High Court’s ruling declaring the congresses that produced the State Chairman, Chukwuemeka Aaron, and other executives of the party null and void is a landmark victory for the rule of law and democratic principles.

Gbara stated that the ruling has brought an end to the controversy surrounding the party’s leadership in the state.

He remarked that the court’s decision is a significant setback for those who sought to impose their will on the party through illegitimate means, urging all party members to remain steadfast, focused, and work together to build a stronger and more united PDP in Rivers State.
