Dr Asue Ighodalo, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in the last Sept. 21, Edo governorship election, has reaffirmed his confidence in the nation’s judiciary.
Ighodalo stated this in Benin on Thursday, outside the court house, while speaking to News men, amid rising tension in the Edo election tribunal.
He said that the PDP and its supporters, were optimistic that the judiciary would do the right thing.
According to him, we are looking forward to the outcome of the tribunal, and we strongly believe that the judiciary will do the right thing.
“Our focus remains reclaiming our mandate and working positively for the good people of the state. We will take poverty out of our land, eliminate fear and intimidation, and unlock the great potential of Edo.”
