An army of unemployed youths on Wednesday laid siege to the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Edo State.
The youths suspected to be members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) had converged opposite the Edo state INEC office.
Also stationed opposite the INEC office were vehicles branded with the APC logo playing loud music to cheer the APC youths and thugs.
Lawyers including the APC and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) counsels who represented the seven political parties on the ground for the material inspection met with officials of INEC.
The counsels made appearances for their various parties as INEC finally granted access to the parties to inspect election materials for the just concluded Edo Governorship election.
