Barely a few days after he was sacked as Senior Special Assistant on Security (North) to Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State, Alex Okemini was, on Friday, suspended indefinitely for alleged cult-related activities by Alex Ekwueme University, Ndufu-Alike Ikwo.
It will be recalled that Mr. Okemini was, until recently, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Francis Nwifuru on Security (Ebonyi North) before he was sacked by the Ebonyi State government for gross misconduct.
Before his suspension by the school, Weekend Guardian gathered that Okemini had, during the institution’s last matriculation, flown the colors of one cult group.
His action angered the management of the institution, who immediately set up a high-powered committee to look into the matter.
