Ex-member of the House of Representatives, Rep. Samuel Onuigbo has urged the South East Development Commission (SEDC) to focus more on provision of railroads, education and agriculture.
Onuigbo, who represented Ikwuano/Umuahia North/Umuahia South federal constituency said this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday.
He said that railroads were critical transportation infrastructure with the capacity to inter-connect all the states of the South East.
“The South East is dominantly business oriented, therefore railroads that connect Owerri to Aba to Onitsha to Enugu is very important.
