The Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Prince Lateef Fagbemi (SAN), has called for responsible citizenship, particularly in the deployment of information technology tools in the digital age.
Speaking at a Social Media Summit held in Abuja on Wednesday, Fagbemi stressed the need for citizens to exercise caution in their use of social media, noting that while freedom of speech is guaranteed, it must not be abused.
The summit, themed “Harnessing the Power of Social Media for National Development,” brought together leaders, stakeholders, and social media influencers to discuss the role of digital platforms in shaping Nigeria’s future.
