Super Falcons’ Captain, Onome Ebi, has predicted that Nigeria will ruffle many feathers at the 2023 Women World Cup in Australia/New Zealand.
Despite being in Group B, where they will face Canada, Ireland and hosts, Australia, Ebi said the Super Falcons will be ready for the challenges, adding that attaining the semifinals as predicted by Coach Randy Waldrum is possible.
Speaking to CAFOnline on the celebration of 100 days to go until the competition kicks off, Ebi said Nigeria is better placed for success this year than in its previous appearances in the World Cup.
Ebi said the Falcons’ preparation is running smoothly, adding, “we are focusing on improving on all fronts; from defence to attack. We are adjusting everything to be ready for the World Cup, which is fast approaching.
