The Osun Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps(FRSC) has trained 23 officers on technology driven-skills to address safety operations in the state.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that officers from the Gbongan Unit Command were trained on technology advanced skills and handlings, while on rescue mission.
The acting Unit Commander, Dr Jude Odinfono, on Wednesday said the training was part of the new Corps Marshal’s programs to address road safety challenges through modern technology-driven.
Odinfono explained that effective partnership with sister agencies and staff capacity development would minimize the high rate of accident on the highways.
