Governor Umaru Bago yesterday offered a panacea to the spate of killings of the citizenry in Plateau state.
The Governor who met with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu advocated for open dialogue to address issues and ensure that the voices of those involved in the conflict are heard.
The Governor hinted that the issue which has elicited widespread condemnation from well meaning Nigerians and the international community would soon be deliberated upon by the North-Central Governors Forum.
The Governor was accompanied by stakeholders from the state, including the former Minister of Sport, Engr. Sani Ndanusa, the immediate past Deputy Governor, Ahmed Ketso, Sen. Mustapha Sani, the Member representing Bida/Gbako/Katcha Federal constituency, Hon. Saidu Musa Abdul, Hon. Lado Suleja and, a few others.
At the parley with President Tinubu, he expressed his heartfelt condolences over the loss of Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.
