Jubilation fills the air in Kaduna among the All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters as the Kaduna State Electoral Independent Commission (SEICOM) declared the results of the local government chairmanship and councillorship elections held on Saturday in the state.
The SEICOM Chairman, Hajara Mohammed, while announcing the results, said the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) won all 23 local government chairmanship seats as well as the 255 councillorship positions across the state.
This was as the State Governor, Uba Sani, described the election as peaceful, free, and fair.
Besides, according to the SEICOM boss, eight political parties fielded political candidates in the election. They are ADC, APC, APGA, LP, NNPP, PDP, PRP, and YPP.
