Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, on Tuesday night praised the Department of State Services (DSS) for its collaboration with the Nigerian Armed Forces, which led to the seizure of a significant arms and ammunition cache being transported from Niger Republic.
The governor’s praise followed his inspection of the seized arms and ammunition in Gusau, the state capital.
Lawal expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his strong support of the DSS and the military, efforts that have contributed to enhancing security in Zamfara State and across Nigeria.
He assured that his administration would continue to support the security agencies in the state in their fight against terrorism and criminal activities.
