The Nasarawa State Police Command has said it arrested 31 criminal suspects involved in various criminal activities in the state in July 2024.
The State Commissioner of Police, CP Shehu Umar Nadada, made this known at the command headquarters while addressing a press conference in Lafia on Tuesday.
CP Nadada said that during this period, the Command conducted numerous arrests and made significant recoveries.
Among the criminal suspects arrested, according to the CP, are 11 kidnappers, six arms dealers, one involved in the offense of homicide, and 13 notorious armed robbers.
CP Nadada also said that items recovered include five firearms, 1,080 ammunitions, five magazines, 20 wrappers, four motorcycles, one vehicle, 96 bags of 50 kg rice, 13 laptops, phones, and televisions.
