The lawmaker representing the Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency of Osun State in the House of Representatives, Mr Oluwole Oke, has advised the former governor of the state, Rauf Aregbesola, to “go and beg, prostrate, and make peace” with President Bola Tinubu.
He said this amid political tensions in Osun following the exit from the All Progressives Congress (APC) by the Omoluabi Progressives supported by Aregbesola.
The group’s exit is believed to be the result of conflicts between Aregbesola and his successor, ex-governor Adegboyega Oyetola.
In a social media post, Oke, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), said a reconciliation between both men would benefit the APC.
He, however, urged the PDP to capitalise on the crack in the APC for its own gain.
