The Special Task Force, Operation Safe Haven (OPSH), has met with key stakeholders from Bokkos and Mangu local councils of Plateau State following the resurgence of criminal attacks in the areas.
At a meeting held at the Headquarters 3 Division Nigerian Army (NA), Jos, yesterday, the General Officer Commanding 3 Division Nigerian Army (NA) and Commander OPSH, Major General Abdulsalam Abubakar, disclosed that the meeting was aimed at addressing the latest security concerns in some parts of the state.
The commander expressed displeasure over the reoccurring breach of security, which has resulted in the death of innocent civilians.
The commander reiterated that the causes of conflicts on the Plateau must be adequately addressed to prevent further breakdown of law and order.
