Kwara State Police Command has arrested musician Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, known as Portable, following alleged criminal defamation, threat to life and character assassination on Fuji musician Akorede Babatunde Okunola known as Saheed Osupa.
Portable was arrested at around 7:25 pm on Saturday in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State, and taken to Ilorin by Kwara State police operatives.
The details of the musician’s arrest were disclosed in a statement signed by the spokesperson of the Kwara State Police Command, Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi.
“Police detectives of Kwara Command have taken lawful steps in line with due process to investigate the allegations,” said Ejire-Adeyemi.
