Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, will next week inaugurate 36 roads, five bridges, and a pedestrian bridge executed across the state.
The Special Adviser on Infrastructure to the Governor, Olufemi Daramola, who disclosed this on Friday during a briefing, stated that in a bid to grow the economy through a robust infrastructure portfolio, the Sanwo-Olu administration embarked upon the provision of sustainable road infrastructure in the state.
“It is important to mention that despite the global economic challenges and spiralling inflation, which led to a major increase in the costs hitherto earmarked for the projects—almost to a point of abandonment—the administration of Mr. Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, prioritised the delivery of these projects,” Daramola stated.
