Saudi Arabia to boost investment in Nigeria's agricultural sector

To improve bilateral trade with Nigeria, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has expressed interest to invest in the Nigeria’s agricultural sector in a bid to tap into the huge potential in the sector .

The Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Engr Abdulrahman Abdulmoshen during a courtesy visit to the Nigerian Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Abubakar Kyari, stressed that there aim was to export food from Nigeria to nearby countries, as well as targeting the Nigerian market.

He said “we do believe that Nigeria has some comparative advantages and the need to invest wisely in the agriculture, food sector, whereby we will be targeting the Nigerian market or exporting to nearby countries.
