Three-year-old boy seeks N5m for corrective heart surgery

The mother of Jeremiah Simeon, Olorunda Precious, is seeking financial assistance to help save her three-year-old son, who has been diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot, a rare heart condition.

Jeremiah experienced frequent squatting and bluish discolouration of the body, prompting a diagnosis of TOF at Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital. TOF is a congenital heart defect characterised by four problems affecting the heart’s structure and blood flow.

Children with TOF often exhibit blue or grey skin due to low oxygen levels.Urgent surgery is needed to repair Jeremiah’s TOF and improve blood supply to his lungs due to frequent episodes of breathlessness and bluish discolouration.
