The labour union has revealed their reason for accepting the ₦70,000 new minimum wage President Bola Tinubu approved for Nigerian workers on Thursday. The Guardian reports that the leadership of both the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) had threatened to embark on a massive industrial action if the federal government approved a minimum wage below their demands of ₦250,000.
